I'm from a seaside town in Connecticut. I rode a crappy Magna bike that I got from Target four years ago. But recently the rear derailleur cable snapped, and the neither shifters work, and I just got a flat. So now I ride my dad's 15 year old bike. I'm more of a weekend rider, but recently I've begun going on long rides, but on road. Last weekend I was on the Cape, on the bike path and I completely wiped out, I'm a little scratched up but I can still ride. I'm in the market for a new bike, and I think that I want to buy the Trek 4300. Any opinions on that?
