not only that, but the cops'll be real. it's the same night as critical mass and is the second night after the cops give themselves the right to nab people for parading without a permit for violating any traffic laws on a bike.

looks like a fun race, and I'm ready to get a ticket for something besides critical mass.

Anyone from Boston thinking about going to this? I'm assuming tickets will just be fines. I don't plan on returning for a court date.

is the law just for pariding or for say blowing a light?

it's peaked my interest. i was planning on going home to visit my fam in NJ sometime after the 20th when my classes are done, and I also wanted to spend some time in the city to visit friends who just moved to brooklyn recently.

if there's somebody behind you, or next to you, or somewhere in front of you, then you'd be parading.

it's gotta be 3 people though, right?

there are certainly risks associated with the race. ride under your own responsibility. It's a timed, points race, not an all out sprint, so the necessity for recklessly blowing lights is lessened. But when you're on the street, you're on your own. please pay attention and be careful.

Two (2) baby, and you don't even have to like the person.
