General Cycling Discussion - What does the cold do to the bike?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I have recently mounted a bike for the first time in 20 yrs. The weather here forced me inside. Short story is that the bike is in a shed protected from the elements but obviously not from the cold. So when it finally thaws here, which will mean the bike hasn't been moved for two months, what special attention does the bike need before I ride again?:)

:) I think you should take the bike to your LBS(local bike shop)For a good tune up.They will tell you what needs to be done to your bike so you can ride safe. :)Welcome to the forums.
