they finally took the money out of my account for the bike i ordered a couple of weeks ago so i think its on its way. i want it to be here tomorrow but my sources say that ups does not ship on saturdays. does anyone know if this is correct? also, do most companies use ups?

Ship or deliver? Saturday delivery is available at an additional fee, on overnight and (maybe ground). The trucks don't run on Saturday, as far as I know though so if you didn't pay extra, and it's coming ground (and not overnight or fast fast air) I wouldn't expect to get a delivery tomorrow. Why not just check your track # and find the delivery date?

We do deliver on Saturdays, but it's all air packages and it's not cheap.

I think UPS red does that, but red is hella expensive. Around 5x what normal shipping is.

My speakers were 30 shipping, but on red would be $150. Given red is very similar to fedex "first daylight", but is no later than noon the next day.

UPS will do saturday delivery with thier red label service. It has to be requested and it is not cheap. They also only have limited service areas for saturday delivery.
