hi
this is my first post and is really asking for advice on building up a cross bike that i intend to race on.
I am a junior rider, so I have a budget of £800 so here is my build list so far:
frame: kinesis cross light evo
forks: same as above
chainset: shimano 105 9 speed (worked on my previous cross bike and is relatively cheap)
front mech/rear mech: shimano 105 9 speed
STi levers:shimano 105 9 speed
tape: specialized phat bar tape
pedals: shimano M540
cassette: shimano 105 9 speed
chain: shimano
brakes: frogleggs
cables/cable hanger: shimano
I aquired the brakes free so the current estimation without the brakes is £730
wheels and tyres already have.
gearing: 48x36 / 12x23
as i said before i have a limited budget but just wondered if there's anything i need to change or i have forgotten.
all suggestions welcome
