As long as they are sealed, there won't be anything horribly wrong with them. They might be a tad stale, but who cares at that price?

Actually they will very likely, at some point, have maggots in them. That wasn't a joke. It won't be the day after they expire, but it is very common. I've had expired cereal bars before that ended up having maggots after a while. Lucky I noticed before chomping down.

They don't break in...maggots are like fly larvae I think...something like that. They are already in the food, but too small to see. Nearly all food has it...just from flies that have landed on them and laid eggs at some point.

Don't believe me....take some raw hamburger, seal it as tight as you like, then let it sit until it spoils......see all the maggots in it.

lol you guys a wierd and termite you must breed maggots because ive eaten like 3 year old breakfast bars and i have never found maggots in them. its not like maggons appear outa no where like magicians and magicaly disappear inside the breakfast bar :P

I let my friend kill the termites. He's viscious. Or viscuous. He's one of those.

I went to a bike race last month were they were giveing out unlimited free power bars of all flavors.

seriously...they had a semi truck full and they were just giving them out by the bag full.

+1 give me a dove bar anytime, where it melts in your mouth! How long to do have to chew on a bite of a powerbar until you can actually swallow it!:rolleyes: those things are nasty with or withought maggets!

I can't stand Cliff Bars before the expiration date, so have fun with that.
