It's like, how much more black could this be? and the answer is none. None more black.
i have to pass the huf everyday to get home....i have never seen that one outside...sure the yellow anchor all the time but not that....ill keep an eye out for it...and then stare at it like a hungry beast when we meet.

You may be right, but i'm not sure those are the same bikes. Different wheels and cranks. I really want that stem though.

The first is Massan's bike, the second another owner I'm not familiar with, both designed by Benny Gold for HUF. Believe there were exactly 3 of them made. They're definitely black.

I bought Vigo's expecting them to be the balls. They're not. Make anything besides the most futuristic looking pursuit frame look like crap. And even then you should be riding something classier. Vigorelli's are like school in the summer time.

Here's a technical question. Let's say I wanted to paint/powdercoat a frame and apply my own custom graphics to it. How would one go about applying custom graphics like that to a frame without spending an entirely unreasonable amount of money?

Velographic Decals (http://www.velographicdecals.com) would be a good way to go. I think his price is usually around $30 for a full set of decals.

Keith still has room to offer different types of product, like the HUF track bike he made, which sold at $2000 a pop.
so "making" = repainting & rebadging a Bianchi Pista Concept? arf.

If you look at the Pista in my sig. I got those decals ($5 headtube, $20 downtube) from www.decalzbysuzieq.com. She does Johnny Cycle and Kaminicki's stuff.

It doesn't really seem any different to me than buying a silkscreened t-shirt.

That "decal" looks silkscreened to me? They do that on bike frames don't they?

p.s. did anyone bother to read heron preston's blog? It irritates me. He reminds me of some kind of self-made celebrity : ( and his SF video features that terrible veggie burro place : /

Burn them all you like, mine work great and look like they are made for ninjas. I don't see how that "school in the summertime" bit you picked up off of somebody else plays into anything. I'm classy already.
