I recently purchased a Zeus track bike and I need to change the gear ratio. I am trying to find a 19t or 20t cag for a zeus hub that is french threaded and haven't been able to find anything. Any help finding one would be appreciated.
I couldn't find anything with a quick search, but perhaps you could try some french online stores.
I'm pretty sure only the lockring is French threaded, but I could be wrong...
i have no trouble putting an eai cog on a zeus hub

did you grab that zeus from the bost CL? That was a steal.
The cog isn't French-threaded so an EAI will work fine. The lockring is French threaded. The easiest place to get a lockring is to ask a Mavic dealer to get one for you -- it's the same lockring that's used on Mavic Comete carbon discs and on Ellipses. Cost is about $8. I don't know of anyone anywhere who uses French threading other than Mavic.
