So my buddy John and his Fiance Stef finally made it legal yesterday...Stef welds for Seven Cycles and gave John a WONDERFUL gift...a Ti Tandem, welded by her...she also fabbed the head tube badge by hand. I figured I'd post it here as more fo you guys could relate to the singlespeed as opposed to the folks in the Tandem forum LOL. Stef was the first person I ever met to ride a fixie back 6 years ago...

Great time, great food and Stef and Johns closest buds...

That is the coolest gift I have seen in a long time. Was she able to keep it a secret?

Not to sound corny, but Stef and John were meant to be...He's a tech For a local BMW Motorcycle dealer and she's a welder for Seven.

The Bike is just fantastic...dual EBB's, mean ol Surly fork..just beautifully crafted.

I've seen some of Stef's older bikes and was floored (She used to weld for Merlin), but this, from the headbadge to the last weld was just stunning.

With ****-ton of hot Ti bikes locked to it? (that would be so awesome). I'm imagining a little Ti tricycle, and a whole house that is all that soft brushed gray...

yeah, its awesome to have a wife that's a frame maker,
but think of how over-the-top it would be if your mom was a frame maker...

seeeeriously, considering how generous and giving most mothers are, you could probably sucker more than a couple frames out of her.

That's an awesome gift. Beautiful bike plus she can keep tabs on him when they're out riding to make sure his eyes don't wander. Women...they're always one step ahead.

Damn, that is sweet. Makes the wedding gifts my buddy received this past weekend look like a pile of puke.
