Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Labeled "Silver Spirit". I'm getting more info off the bike as I go. I just picked it up at a garage sale for literally nothing, but I know literally nothing about it. It's an EXCELLENT road bike for riding but I'd like to restore it (it needs a little work). Is there any way to tell who made it and if it was a low, med, or high-end bike?

no overview and some detail shots would be nice. You can't take too much photos ;)

Any decals on the frame? Take pix of those if they exist.

Besides the pics requested above, the serial number may indicate the manufacturer and seat post size is usually a good indicator of the tubing/frame type. A close-up pic of the rear dropouts will indicate if it entry level or better. Also, pics of major components such as the rear derailleur, crankset and brakes.
