Already put in my days for vacation this year, so I can't. Next year I will make every effort to go. Is the web page you listed the official one for the event? I have to put in my vacation request in December/January so the earlier I can get the dates for next year the better.

BTW, anyone on the way from Dayton is welcome to ride for the price of 1/2 the gas if you can fit in my teeny car...

Event not quite full. ;) I just got my confirmation email today and there appears to be 20-30 spots left. Email them to be certain.

Sorry for the late post. I had fallen off of the internet for a few months. Life sucks sometimes.

Well, I went and I guess the best adjective I could use would be Wet.
Two days of thunderstorms do not make for good trailriding.
On the bright side, It cleared up Sunday, just in time to drive home.

Personally, I found the organizer to be lacking in any useful info for newbies to the event. He tended to describe things by saying "those of you who have attended before knowwhat I mean / am talking about / where its at" There were a few things to cater to the noobs like an information session on trail in the area (did not include minor details like directions to the trailhead in many cases) as well as guided group rides (Ick, I like to ride alone alot.)

Honestly, I found the staff at Blue Mountain Sports to be far more helpful. They were able to direct me to several beautiful trails within riding distance from downtown JT. In return, I spent a crapload of money there ;)

Overall, I had fun, got wet, and rode a bunch. It was a long drive for me (560+mi) so I'm not sure I'll go back.
