Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. I've been eyeing Helmet Cams for a while. Who's using them, any recommendations? What vid cam are you using with them?
I've considered the Viosport...but I've recently found these guys and they look like a better system...

Helmet cams and Viosport cams are pretty much the same exact camera and parts, except that Helmet cams make the extra aluminum case for theirs. Viosport is a local company here and I'd go with them, I know the guy that owns the company and he's cool. Search on google for helmet cams....Viosport is on the top of the page, they rule:D

Well - search engines certainly are a personal thing! Searching for "helmet camera" pops up www.helmetcamera.com first...
Thanks for the advice - I'm still looking.
BTW - What vid cam do you use? What editing software, etc.?

I actually dont have one of my own, I was thinking about getting one though. I have friends that use Viosport cams and the owner is at alot of races using it. I have used the camera setup and it is very nice, but I have never actually edited a video yet.

I use a JVC DV Cam to capture and Pinnacle Studio DV to edit.
I've created some decent vids for my Nitro R/C website...

I have a Viosport cam and it works great. I wasn't impressed with helmetcam.com's customer service at all. I would def recomend Vio's product.;)
