Since it hasn't been released, lets try and do some math to figure it out.

The price of the Demo 9 is $5500 USD. The Demo 9 has 9 inches of rear travel, the demo 7 has 7 inches.

5500/9=611.1111111

So 611.1111111 X 7 = $4277.77

That's not the real price
Real price = $4277.78!
Whoever that can explain this will get a cookie!

I work at bike shop that carries specialized, and herd our manager saying that the Demo 7 was coming in 3 color schemes, and in two different models the Demo 7 II retailing at $4400 and the Demo 7 I retailing at $3300

And I am not standing by these prices what so ever this is just what I overherd from the manager

Wouldn't a hardtail be free under this math?

You need to get the price of a specialized hardtail and the demo 8 and 9, plot them, find a line of best fit, and read off where the line crosses the 7" travel tick.
