I went about 8 months without a single flat tire or wreck. I ride aggressively, too.
In the last 3 rides, I have crashed each time...pretty hard too. One of those times, I taco'd my 9 day old Mavic CrossRide front wheel. One of the other's, my friend crashed into me and bent his top tube, broke his shifter lever completely off, and broke his bar end off. Last weekend I flatted 6 times. My friend just bought a brand new Rockhopper Comp. and we went out Sunday and 3 miles into our ride he fractured his elbow. My riding buddy rolled a tire off his rim tonight and fell down twice.
What happened to my winning streak?
