Thanks everyone, appreciate it. I think I'll spend the day in cubicle hell then go for my normal Wednesday night group ride this evening. I am hoping I can turn it into a hammerfest. I'm not sure how happy some of them will be over that though. :rolleyes:

Well the birthday ride was great. We did a pretty fast paced 39 miles with approximately 3,000 feet of climbing. I think we set the pace a little high on the first climb since about half the group decided that maybe they should go ride something else. Since we were limited on time that worked out pretty well for everyone. There ended up being six of us and we all stayed pretty close together. I was able to stay up front on the climbs though, made me feel pretty good (for an old man). :D

Unfortunately it got dark on us so we had to keep the ride pretty short.
