Does anyone else use them and if so have you had any problems?

I had to have mine re-shimmed as I couldn't get gear 4 and 11, which are the same cogs used with the internal reducers.

Apart from that they have been brilliant and I would never go back to deraillieurs

If you don't know they are a german made Hub gear system with 14 gears in the rear hub and a single changer. You can change gear standing still like a car/auto, and as the ratios are linear the "next" gear is usually the one you want.

Searching has been temporarily disabled so I couldn't search. I tried looking and couldn't find one myself so started another, sorry if this has caused distress in any way

I like the device but you can practically buy a Trek 520 for the price of just the hub. Then you still have to buy a touring bike!

Until the price goes down, people will tour with the Nexus 8, Sram 7 and Sturmey Archer 7. From what I understand, all three hubs will give you 20 inch gear (or close) with the right ring and cog. The Sram 3X9 is a very reliable hub/derailluer and will get you a 20 inch gear.
