Hi all,

This is a post to show my appreciation and amazement at the quick response and action taken from Wilier.

I bought my bike on the 4th of January 2003 and I noticed that the paint on the red part of the top tube started to peel off.

you can see my bike on this post.

Original post of bike (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=19551)

I thought I would try my luck and e-mail wilier and tell them of the problem. I also sent them a few pictures I took of the where the decal was starting to peel off. I was quite shocked that I got a reply e-mail 2 days later from Wilier.

On the e-mail the man said immediately that the frame MUST be changed. He told me to contact the importer in Australia ASAP which I did and organised for a frame to get sent up to my local bike store. Less than a week later, I have my new frame and all my components on my new frame.

Even my Local Bike store was absolutely amazed and the excellent service and response which Wilier provide.

I am based in Australia and Wilier is starting to become a well established name. with service like that, I really hope that they continue on being successful not only in Australia but also other countries.

Thanks again Wilier

Yes. I couldn’t believe it either. That is good news and about time people and companies take pride in their products and customers. It is great how they carry out their after sales warranty and response times.

Backman. You were 100% correct and I think if a company makes an effort to excel in their products and service they should be recognised for it.

Thanks Slick for the info. I have a avenue for picking up Wilier frames and completes, but there is almost 0 market for road bikes here in this part of Tx. I do however appreciate the feedback on the company.
