so I was removing my cassette to switch it out, and my freehub body just came along with it..... I managed to seperate the two, and put the freehub back on the axle thing, but was that supposed to happen? Or allowed to happen?
Its a mike garcia built road rear wheel on the speedcific brand hub.
thanks,
B.

Woah! Not supposed to happen, no. Usually there's a 10 mm allen-head bolt that holds the freehub in place, at least that's the case for Shimano hubs.
Does your hub have one? Check that the threads aren't stripped. Unless it's of a completely different design, I can't think of any reason why the freehub would come off like that.

false alarm. I called MG (and actually got through) and apparently these are allowed to do that, as are some of the DT swiss hubs.
