Foo - What can I do???

I have been receiving numerous Religious mailings. I do believe in God. But here's the deal:

I was being harrassed from a 14 year old boy on Myspace saying I'm going to go to Hell if I don't change my ways. And my family too. He then started doing this to my friends. We all blocked him.

Then I started getting mailings everyday. I don't want these mailings, because I already have my Religious beliefs set. It's a waste of paper. It's a continual harrassement. This is a free country, and I shouldn't have to be persecuted from someone 20 years younger than me, just because my beliefs vary from his. He lives 2 blocks away, and is the cousin of my next door neighbor, who I'm in good standings with.

What do I do to stop this? Please help me!

report him... harassment online is as serious as harassment face to face. You dont have to take this!

Put a flaming bag of dog **** on his doorstep. Either that or politely tell him to stop.

Sign him up for satanist newsletters. Or talk to his parents. If they're as bad as him, sign them up for satanist newsletters too. Then TP their house.

i'd report this, because no one and i mean no one in the wrold can force you to change your beliefs just because one person thinks a different way. I guess that kid isnt to religious considering he doesnt understand that God did create us all, and that if another person has a different belief then you that means God intended it to be that way, so pretty much he is going against God. So just report him to like the police or some thing. i know for sure FBI has special agents on online harassment. Im pretty sure you can block him on myspace, or you can report the mailings to Tom, and he will most likely either delete that kids account and block any reregistration from that IP address, or he will just block him so he wont send you anything.

No matter what you decide to do, you should take all the junk mail and dump it on his front steps.

Also, consider posting his name and phone number in newspaper and online classified adds of people looking for the kink and bondage or some other gross fetish type of sex partners. Creeps calling him and emailing him would be far nastier than getting junk mail or calls from people looking for ways to expand on their faith.

Edit: Considering the fact he's 14, I must retract the idea of doing the above prank, but I stand behind the concept for use on adults.

I went to the church he goes to...once. It was an alternative to Halloween event...in which I noticed and heard constant snide remarks from the mother's about other people there. This is a church event in which judgement was the main theme. I was offended and left, taking my family with me.

No free satanist newsletters? How about free newsletters from the big 3 religions, scientology, nazi parties, white supremacist groups, and log cabin republicans?

You might as well explain to him that his efforts have not changed your mind at all, and his persistance, while initially appreciated (I hope), has gone too far and become a distraction from the message. Furthermore, you would appreciate being unsubscribed from the mailing lists.

Additionally, for him to say you are going to hell is presumptious, which is a sin against God's mercy and justice and against love of your neighbor. I'm sure he means well, but he's coming up short on charity.

If he doesn't stop, the craigslist idea is kinda funny...

Collect the junk mail and take it to the Postal Inspectors office, they may be able to help. My first house had previously been lived in by an elderly lady who received all kinds of WEIRD religous mailings soliciting money. They struck me as something a con man dreamed up while being locked up for previous crimes. I sent them notice that if they did not take me off of their mailing list, future solicitations would be turned over to the Postal Inspector. The mailings stopped for several months, but then started again, so I delivered three samples to the Postal Inspectors office and told them: "If this sort of thing isn't illegal it should be. Would you check it out and get them to stop sending me this crap?". The mailings stopped for good shortly after that.

Another suggestion and a quite simple one: Report this little **** to the police. Texas has an anti-harassment law on the books, and it sounds to me like this little creep is violating it. It's strictly a misdemeanor offense, but I think a visit from the police (or even a threat to call them) might make him sit his sanctimonious ass down.

I'm sorry is than actual serious post? Are you that much of an actual wimp that a bunch of letters bother you? It's not like they have to be opened or read, all thats required is dumping them straight in the trash. Everyone with a mailbox gets junkmail everyday this is just one more piece deal with it. Damn i'm feeling surly this morning.
