Hi all,
I'm 61 years young, and refuse to grow up.
I gave up riding regularly 14 years ago, when I moved from California to New York.
In Ca, I used to ride 200 - 300 miles per week. For the last year, I commuted 90 miles each way by bicycle. (I'd ride to work on Sunday afternoon, stay in an apartment during the week, and then ride home again after work on Friday.)
I now weigh 40 lbs more than I did then, and am fed up with carrying 40 lbs blubber around with me so I've started riding again.
First week, I managed 30 miles, and got numerous minor mechanical problems sorted out. Can't wait to start the next week.
