I orderd travel agents to let my inline levers work with vbrakes. I orderd them off of nashbar, thinking (reasonably) that I would get a pair. ONE comes in the box with the rest of my crap.
OK, fine, whatever. The American economy is oriented towards suckers. Get over it. I go to a local bike shop the next day for something, and ask if they have any travel agents as a by-the-way. They give me a used one.
Fast forward to today. I set up the front brake with the used one. Its the kind that acts as a cable noodle. A little tricky to set up, but I get it, and now it works great. I open the package of the one I got from nashbar. Apparently it is the kind tyhat mounts on a canti stud to actuate a disk brake ( ). They were thoughtful enough to include zip ties if I want, however, to have it dangle on the frame near the end of the seat tube  .
Is there any demand for these annoying things? Does anyone think a bike shop would trade me mine for the other style?
