Last night I had a more interesting solution. I was at the dream cruise and I was riding down the street. It was real dark out, and a cop yelled at me to "put some lights on it". That was his polite way to tell me to get off the road. Not to be outdone, I pulled over and electrical taped a surefire 6p to my stem, and another one to the back end of my top tube. Surefires are so bright that I was screwing up the vision of the people behind me, so I had the right lane all to myself.

Those vibelights would have been cool though. Would have fit right in with the rice burners that had their ground effects going.

Too late. I already got hit by a car at nite. Or raHter, I hit her. Just a couple of busted ribs, a hurt arm and messed up thigh that's all.

Already use one, with a halogen headlight and a xenon strobe tail light. Although i bought it much cheaper than that.

If someone hits me, its cos they meant to.

I already have reflective wall tires, a TL-LD1000 on the back, and will soon have a 1w LED on the front.

I'm not looking to see, just to make sure I am seen.

As for when being seen really matters, I'm tempted to make my own battery pack for my Niterider, to run two HIDs, one in front, one in back with a deep red lens. If they can't see that, they need their eyes checked.
