Introductions - Hi, I'm new to this and in need of some info

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I recently stumbled across what I believe to be a vintage road bicycle. It's an Aende frame, has pelissier hubs, campagnolo rear brake, having searched the internet all the info I can seem to find is that Aende was a frame made by a local chappie Pongo Braithwaite (I live in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire), does anyone have any further info? I concentrate mainly on modern mountain bikes, but this one caught my eye. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Pleased to meet you all.

http://sheldonbrown.com/home.html would be one place to start. By the way, he's also a BF member.

Welcome to BF, by the way. Another place would be the Classic/Vintage forum here at BF.http://www.laclasse.free.fr/carotte/Mafia2.gif

Hey Tom I was gonna tell him that. Never mind what he said....

A really cool place to check out is the Classic and Vintage section. They have some pretty smart people there who will guide your way.

And after that, come over to Foo, where Tom and I hang out!~
