I am looking for some help. I have a 1997 VooDoo Boker that I haven't rode in 5 years, needless to say it needed a ton of work, all excpet one thing has been finished.

It has a '96 Judy SL with elastomers that have totally broken down and crumbled. I know companies used to make spring kits to replace the elastomer stacks in these, and new dampers to replace the stock unit. Where can I find a repair kit or spring kit for this fork? My local shop is trying to sell me a new fork, and I don't want to spend the money if I don't have to.

Please email me at willbw02@hotmail.com

Thank you very much.

I think you should NOT get the England air cartridges for $110 and put that money towards a newer fork. Even with the new cartridges, you still have a 10 year old fork.

If you cruise through EBay you can find a much better fork, maybe only a couple years old for about $150.00

Cambria has a lot of fork spare parts. Check their online inventory and you may just find a Judy spring kit cheap to replace the elastomers (or you might find an elastomer set).

Here's one set they have: http://www.cambriabike.com/shopexd.asp?id=22331
