I just felt like saying that! :D

Took it out for a 25 mile spin yesterday afternoon - hooked up with a roadie in full kit and rode 10-feet off his rear wheel for 6 miles. Then I passed him just before turning into the parking lot. :p

I never did get the drops on it. I went back to the standard handlbars but I installed them upside down so they are lowers instead of risers. I'd still like to do something a little different there but can't decide what.

Never got the Schlumpf either but I may yet do that. This thing climbs so well, I might just go to a larger chainring for more top end.

Take it up to the Smokies.

The Mu is the cutest looking bike Dahon have made so far. And so light. Glad you're enjoying. How are those lovely Rolf wheels?

Love the Rolfs! And they are treating me well. All the little spokes are staying tight and true.

I could defintely handle a larger chainring around here. I climbed the biggest hill around this morning without dropping all the way to the 34 in back so i can step up a bit.

As for the Smokies... I said the Mu climbed well - I didn't say I was riding it when it did. :D And what's this I hear about a 32-mile climb in you next of the woods!!

The MU is the most attractive frame in a folder. Glad to hear you are happy with it.

I got a great name for your new Mu SL. Call it Meta. I just hope you aren't too old so that there might be a connection between the name and your diet.

FWIW, the Mu SL is one of the few current Dahons I like. It looked nice but a little fragile for a big buy so I never could seriously consider one. This was especially true after my less than great experience with my SpeedPro and its wheels.

Just curious what is your weight and height? I was wondering what the optimal Mu rider was like as they have one size frame.

I'm 6 foot 175 pounds. I have the handlebars all the way forward and the seat about 4 inchs from max height. If I could move the handlebars a bit more forward I would. As it stands, the cockpit geometry is more like a mountain bike. If I could move the bars forward it would be more like a roadie. Some drop bars or bull horn bars would probably fit the bill. The lack of a sram compatible and road bar compatible shifter has stopped me from proceeding along those lines.
