I have started a new forum for cyclists in the Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina area. My main goal with this forum is to facilitate local rides/meetups and get the shops involved more with the local cycling community. I am offering free advertising to all the shops in the RDU area in return for their participation on the site and a link back to the forums from their shop's website.
Some of the features include:
VBPicGallery - A gallery for showcasing your equipment (Any non NC BF members feel free to sign up and show off your gear)
PHPClassifieds - An advanced For Sale system that features seamless picture integration, auto thumbnail generation, an Ebay-like feedback system, ability to make your sale an auction, etc.
Shoutbox - Goes without saying
I have some other plans for the site but right now I really haven't promoted it much other than linking it in my signature here. I want to add a standalone photo gallery for pictures from local cycling events/rides at some point and I may do a complete visual overhaul of the site down the road. What I have now is okay but I'd like something more flashy at some point.
If you live in the RDU area (or even if you don't), drop by and check it out at http://www.trianglecycling.com
Thanks!
