Introductions - Hello! =)

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Very nice forum here =) I'm 19 college student from U of I at Urbana Champaign. Probably count as a roadie... out for a while with a bum knee so I'll have to wait until May to get back in cycling... (also the time I'll get a new Giant TCR 1)

Welcome to Bike Forums Baldy!
I've had surgery on both knees, so I hear ya buddy!! Luckily, cycling is pretty easy on the knees, so you'll be back in the saddle soon. Just follow the doctors orders!!!
Welcome!

Good for you! I love the field....I work with brain-injured folks (neuropsychologist)
Have to tell you though, getting harder and harder to make a living in the field due to restrictions on insurance payments, HMOs, etc. Money isn't everything, though.
Best of luck with your studies!!!!

Hey ShinyBaldy! I know you!
I just ventured over here myself from the Bicycling.com forums. I wonder how many other folks from those boards are here.

:D well let's hope this is a better place... without the fanatical aspects of bicycling.
Welcome to the forums. There are fanatics here. Polite ones. Even the Rant & Raves are dignified.

Welcome, Shiny. You'll like it here. A lot more friendly than the other boards. Great tips and fellowship.
