Friday, Sept. 1st

12:00pm(noon) Registration.
Begins at Tattooed Mom’s, 530 South Street lasting until 9pm.

6:00pm Art Crawl.
A ride to venues throughout Philly displaying Messenger art during the “First Friday” events. Ends at Tattooed Mom’s 530 South Street.

8:00pm Welcome to Philly Ride
See what out city has to offer as Aylen from Baltimore takes you by all the tourist hotspots included in our city’s bicycle maps. Ends at the Welcome Party 2020 N. Hancock St.

9:00pm to 2:00am Welcome to Philly Party
This is the place to be on Friday. $1 Pabst for registered competitors, Live DJ’s, GoldSprints Qualifiers, and on going registration until 2:00am. Holler!




Saturday, Sept. 2nd

9:00am to 4:00pm Main Race Qualifiers
Memorial Hall @ 41st & Girard.

10:00am to 2:00pm Sprints Qualifiers
Memorial Hall @ 41st & Girard.

9:00pm to 2:00am After Party

Sunday, Sept. 3rd

9:00am to 10:00am Open Forum
Location to Be Announced. Discuss next years NACCC among other things.

10:00am to 1:00pm Main Race Finals

1:00pm to 2:00pm Sprints Finals
Let’s finish this up good. Memorial Hall @ 41st & Girard.

2:00pm to 4:00pm Skids & Track Stands
Memorial Hall @ 41st & Girard. Sure to be a crowd pleaser.

6:00pm to 7:00pm Group Photo
We’ll take one to show our grandkids. Meet at the Philadelphia Art Museum. You know… the place Rocky ran up the stairs.

8:00pm to 2:00am AFTER PARTY & AWARDS
2020 N. Hancock St. Awards start at 9:00pm
· 1st Place Men’s and Women’s Main Race receives a complete Raleigh track bike and a custom R.E.load bag.

I rode to CMWC Philadelphia in 00, we did a two day ride from nyc, camped in jersey and had some vehicles carry our extra stuff.

Hell, I know some kids who have done it in one day, about 120 miles!?

Homecoming! Haven't been back to illadelph since I moved to SF, and I'm looking forward to mashing my ass off in the 215.

Thanks for organizing Dailey. I haven't had the pleasure of being squirted with a Super Soaker since one of your 4th of July races a few years ago.

hey squid.. I am not sure how you all are getting from nyc. We have done the ride from city hall in philly to newark penn station in 85 miles or so. Either have fun on your ride..

race course will see the light of day in a bit.

yeah I remember that race fun times. maybe we will get super soakers for the main races to cool everyone off that will be racing for 3 hours..

The anticipation grows. This is going to kick much ass!

five of the trackstar crew cycled to tattooed mom's from newark penn station on sunday. total distance was approx. 135 km (84 mi) on the road. we did it in about 8 hours total, which included a lot of stopping and screwing around. total time pedaling was about 6 hours.

it looks at the moment like no one is going to be organising a pre-event style ride down there, which is unfortunate, but it won't make the Hostile City any less fun. can't wait to get back to Phila.

yeah adam... that ride isn't bad. we did 13 of us for the worlds in nyc. man not that many folks like to ride there in nyc. hahaha

anyway. can't wait to see you all in a week..

I have finals week next week but I am going to drink so much pabst and do so little studying this weekend.

I just put my pics up from the weekend as well. If you see one of you (for example, say you are the guy who fell while skidding on the pink bike) and would like the rest in the series, just PM me and I can send them to you. I took about 200 shots this weekend, but only felt compelled to post about 35 of them.

If anyone was here or at any of the events, and saw someone shooting, it was probably me, except for the barbecue, and the sprints skids and stands, because I'm a d-bag, and dealt with some power issues with my electronic devices.

also, did anyone get any flicks of me hopping the bunnyhop bar on that bianchi filipe was riding? Or even better, and pictures of me falling directly after, trying to 180 that bike?

Yeah, i've got a bunch of shots too but no internet at home and no way to get them to work till i got here today. They'll be up tomorrow morning

i also had power issues. got there on sunday and realized my camera was completely dead. ran home , charged for an hour, and i was able to get the last 2 hours or so of the main event.

I have a flickr account but it's for non bike related stuff.

I gotta open a new one for bike photos.
I like shoot bikes, and then I shoot the rest of my world, but the two seem very seperate at times. I like to keep them a bit seperate, even though it's obviously a part of my every day.

holy ****, I shot like a few hundred at the main race event, so if anyone wants any action shots of themselves, that might not make it to my flickr, let me know, and I'll hook you up.

this past weekend was the bomb people...thanks Philly and thanks Mark for slaving away like a mad scientist for the results!

Plus one massive prop to everyone who was there to make this happen. So much sh*t went down this past weekend it's tough to recall it in one post here. But it was lots of fun.

I remember to use the camera less and less these days :( I just get caught up in the activity. Will post the dozen or so that I did take in a day or so via my flickr spot.
