I'm relatively new to recumbent riding so my apologies if this question has an obvious answer. But...
I have yet to come up with a way to put a front-facing light on my Tour Easy when riding with a Zzipper fairing. Is there some stock solution to this problem, or do 'bent riders simply use helmet lights?

You may have to fabricate a custom mount for the light. Go to a home improvement store and check out their selection of metal brackets and clamps. Mount the light inside the fairing, as close to the fairing as possible so that it doesn't reflect back too much.

On second thought, how powerful is your light? If you've got a crazy-bright HID or Halogen light, it may melt the fairing if it's too close. In that case, mount the light so it shines underneath the fairing.

Lights and fairings?

Yeah. You know, for when it's dark AND windy.
