Sometimes, I feel the world would be better is Texas were isolated from the rest of the world by being their own republic. INdependent of all else, so they can inflict their damage solely upon themselves.

A favorite movie moment. When THelma would not go through Texas. IT's long way around. Maybe Texas do us all a favor if they required visas to enter that wasteland. It's either too muggy like Louisiana or else desert shrub . With the exception of the Hills about Austin.
Will give them the fact they produce good ribs.

Come to the Dark Side, Luke.
Seeing as that would mean living there it is unlikely to happen, though Austin seems pretty cool.

GRRRRRRR!!!!! Beat me to Europe.
Hey can the PNW have the real snowy parts? We can't seem to ever get enough snow in the PNW and I just can't envision a Telemarking Texan.
We'll crush the Lance bashers with a fist of doom, because it's just the right thing to do.

I thought Texas usually gets a nice amount of snow, at least northern texas or what i say "Upper Box" becuase it looks almost like square.

The Northern part of Texas does get a good amount of snow--you know---the northern part up around Denver.

I think that you have to actually visit a country or continent in order to lay claim to it. Plant a flag or somethin'. :)

I've been to most of Europe, living there, not just visiting, though not yet UK. If jsharr would deputize me, I could claim a flag on behalf of Texas in many EU countries, including eastern Europe.
 Way-ullllll, if he could provide me with enough corn-squeezin's (and get his spellin' right in the main thread. *snicker, from the gal from NC*)
Oooh, listenin' to the Eagles at the moment....
Anyone want to dance "Texas two-step"? :)

Maryland doesn't even own Maryland, let alone Texas. Come up with a less "gay sounding" name for your state, and then we'll talk about equal status, but nothing more.
