I just checked with my sister, and she confirmed it's okay if I go on this ride with you guys, and she can have someone take her to the airport. Yay! :D I look forward to riding with you all.

If possible, I'd love to carpool with someone. Since adxm and I are carpooling the day before for Baldy Challenge and I'm driving, I wouldn't mind doing a bit less driving for this ride. (I can't believe I'm saying this. Me, not choosing to drive? :eek: )

I haven't registered yet. How difficult/scenic is this ride? I may have to bunker in with a friend at Redlands to make the start time...

It's only a metric, so I'm not concerned about the difficulty. And I'm sure it's reasonably flat....

I'm signed up. I'll be on the new Flyte if it gets here in time, or else change the Caloi over from SS to road. My first distance more than 40mi in a looong time, should be interesting.

I don't know of any plans at the moment for meeting up. I thought you, Melissa, and Tracy were promising to make sure I don't die. It's easy for us to meet up; after all, I have all three of your phone numbers, and I'm still hoping I might be able to carpool with Tracy. That doesn't help the others, though.

Yeah, we're happy to "drag" you along (although I'm sure that won't be necessary). It will be a nice recovery ride for you, I'm sure.

I'll just have to reign in Melissa -- she finished the MS century route in something like 6:24. I think she's doping behind my back or something.

We'll just meet up at the start, using cell phones if/when necessary. See you there!

I'm still deciding whether to go to this ride or not. This will be my last long ride before a big break; where I'll come back and do the pie ride the week after. I need all the training I can get. :)

I'm probably gonna have to drive solo as I may have to rush home depending on the 'kid situation'.

I'm the sweeper though since I have absolutely no intentions of trying to keep up w/you wild people! ;) I will pick anyone up if they lag and would love to eat w/you all afterwards as well! :p

Don't be silly. The last time I rode a hilly century with OC Roadie, Pico, Extort, and company, I had trouble walking for the next day and a half.

Jason, let me know if you want to carpool with me. I was able to fit my bike in my car without flipping the rear seats down. That means it should fit 2 bikes lying side-by-side. Only drawback is you'll need to take both wheels off.
