Texas - Hotter than Hell - Aug 26th - Wichita Falls, Tx

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Only a few more days till this one. I know we've got one thread started in the Roadie forum on the topic, but here's a shout out to all BF members who are riding this weekend.
Post your jersey number and what you're riding and how many hot hot miles you're going for!

I think I may put a 'Cuda2k @ BF.net' or something across my saddlebag or camelbak or something as well.
5038 100k I think (based on status of back, damn).
5039 Mrs Lotek says she's going to do 25 but last time
she ended up doing 100k.
I'm riding the serotta
she's riding the Bianchi.

lecterman...maybe cuda is implying that he may go beyond 100k?
Good final prep ride this morning. Took the Gazelle from home down to White Rock Lake, around once and home for 33mi. So a half metric, and I'm feeling like I could most likely do it again. And I didn't take much of any breaks the entire ride, just a minute or two stop at signals.

Could be.
Cuda,
If you want to take a crack at it we could go for the 100 mi.

i heard there is a beer available at mile 90? true?
Beer @ mi 100. Total ride is actually 102mi. Just mean putting a huge beer 'unoffical rest stop' just 2mi short of the goal though!
Let's stick with 100k for this one. Maybe we'll go the full 100mi next year.
bib # 2211 doing the 100m on a KHS. Have fun and stay upright everyone.
Did WRL this morning and felt great and ready to roll.
dl613, I think I may have spotted you out there this morning. Silver KHS?

Cuda, that's me with if it had blue rolf wheels and yellow shoes?
Yeah! I remember the yellow shoes! (mainly cause I had my head down cranking) Forget exactly where around the lake I spotted you though. I was on the Gazelle as seen above and had my cateye rear light on blinking too.
T minus 1 hour till departure from DFW. Destination, Wichita Falls!
