ok i heard mid bearings and american bearings are the same so does that mean you can just pop the bearing out of the cup on the american and use it on a mid size bearing frame?.........just wondering

A Mid is an American without the cup. Press the bearing into the frame, minus the cup.

No. A Mid, when using a 3/4" (19mm) spindle uses the standard R12 bearings that a Profile or Odyssey crank will come with in the American BB kits. If you use a 22mm spindle, though, you'll need a custom bearing, as the outer diameter will be too wide.

I'm so stuck on those 2 brands I forget others exist.

I believe that R12 refers to the outer diameter.
