Cyclocross - Licenses?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

OK, I think I know that you must have a license to race cross...but which one and how? Just go to usacycling.org and sign up? Clueless, sorry.

Get it AFTER Sep 1. The rates drop as it's only valid for the calendar year purchased.

Do you know how much a license costs after 9/1?
Thanks.

It depends on your locale. Some race organizations, such as OBRA (in Oregon) require licenses of their own, instead of USCF.

I got the NORBA license since I don't do road races but will do 2 or 3 mtb races. It too comes with a Cat 4 cross designation.
