Touring - tubus duo or tara

I'm considering either the Tubus Duo or Tubus Tara for front pannier racks. My front forks have braze-ons on both sides of the fork, so, I can use the Duo.
Does anyone have experience with either of these racks? Any recommendations for or against either?

Both fine racks, although the Tara has the addition of the top loop which adds some lateral stiffness. Which one you use mostly depends on whether your fork braze-ons go all the way through the fork (no threads) or are eyelets with threads. I believe the Duo is for the former, the Tara for the latter.

Tara is a nice rack. Duo also. I must admit I sort of copied the design
when I made my own. Its the cut off front of a Blackburn mt rack, 3/8
aluminum rod and stainless clamps. Works really well. I use a 1" x 1" piece
of pine on back of my panniers to ride on fork and keep loaded bags away
from spokes. Just an Idea. Total cost $8 :-)

Thanks Lolly. Complimenting my 2 Quid rack :-) I could have gave lots of $ to Surly or Tara or even Rivendell. Then my practical side always says Why? This rack has 400 miles now and it passes *test*. Ive moved it up about 25mm since that picture. Now the fork clamp is above the brake boss. In case it would ever slip down which was improbable. Next is a top portion for
a trunk rack.... Cheers and "On yer bike Lassy" :)
