From what I understand it is a road bike with triathlon geometry and aerobars..

Does anybody ride it?

It came out this year and I couldn't even find a single review on it...

That bike is designed for short course / "olympic distance" events in which drafting is legal. It will get the job done, but it does not have the longer aero bars for solo riding.

I suppose aero bars can be upgraded

from the looks of it, it isn't tri geometry but a road bike with a slightly aero frame and mini aero bars(not in a bad way for either). If you are looking for mainly a roadie that can do a tri every once in a while than it might be a great pick.

So, it is basically a road bike with aero bar, correct? Why does Felt list it as triathlon bike?

to fill a niche maybe? I guess it is a tt/tri bike for the undecided like the cdale ironman sprint(which uses caad8 geometry), unlike trek Equinox 5 and specialized Transition Multi-Sport that have actual tri geometry and still sport drops and clipons

Because it is for draft legal, ITU, racing. You only get in the aero bars if you are pulling on the front of the pack. Shorter distance from the bars to the brakes/shifters, again, will be used more in a pack than solo riding/draft illegal races. No need for a 'tri' geometry since the aero bars are shorter. You're not going to be that far forward for the short bars. I agree with jrennie that it is a tweener bike for those that are undecided.

My opinion on it is this: If you can't decide between a road/tri bike then go with this. Though, there are better bikes, road and tri, that can be had for $2,000.
