Southeast - The Dam Bridge
Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Arkansas has many things to be proud of bicycle wise including sections of the Mississippi River Trail (http://www.mississippirivertrail.org/) and the Womble Trail (http://www.dirtworld.com/trails/trail.asp?id=1670&trail_name=Womble%20Mountain%20Bike%20Trail).
But coming up at the end of September, we will have the longest bicycle/pedestrian bridge in the world running across the Arkansas River. Lots of partying and bicycle rides. You should join us at the official opening of the Big Dam Bridge (http://www.bigdambridge.com/) the weekend of Sept 30-Oct1 2006(with events starting on the 28th), right here in Little Rock.

It looks like it will be an exciting weekend.
A local bike store told one of my friends that bike sales have become so brisk that they are turning away repair jobs so that they can keep all their people out on the showroom floor selling bikes.
