Well, after getting my degree in May, I finally got a job. I really wanted something nearby so I could commute by bike, so when I got my new job I was happy... until I noticed the only bike racks were on the back side of the building behind some bushes and there was no light. So I just drove on my first day. While getting the first day tour, I asked my supervisor if I could store my bike in my our office instead of locking it up outside. Before I could even finish my sentence she goes "Just bring it in here. Actually, store it in my office; it's a little bigger." Yay for new jobs with unforseen perks.:D

Be careful. If you store it in your boss's office, then she'll always know what time you got there.

Our offices are right next to each other. I actually have to go through her's to get to mine.

I work nights so I wasn't keen on leaving my bike out and I got the go ahead to wheel mine right to my work area. This is a new building that we moved into at the beginning of the year and it's very bike friendly. The door in shipping/receiving is a roll up that activates with my ID so I don't have to hold a swinging door with one hand and manuever the bike with the other. We have lockers and showers here so I can come in, cool off, and then hit the shower before I begin my day (night). Finally, I can wash and dry my riding clothes so that I don't smell like a gym locker on the way home in the morning. I just keep a small bottle of laundry detergent onsite

Life is good and I've made sure to tell my manager that it's appreciated.

I think she just wants you changing in her office... I mean, you'll be all sweaty but some people like that kinda thing...
