Thats really all I am looking for. Just some other ppl like me who aren't super fast, have hybrid or road bikes and want to ride in SM on a weekend (10-20 miles).

Anybody?

I'm in New Braunfels. Not super fast, just trying to build up my
conditioning after a long layoff. I usually frequent F-to-M country roads
in my neck of the woods.

hey Being do you go to Tx State or are you a local in SM? wondering b/c TxState has a cycling team and they have road rides every wednesday and sometimes in the weekends. As for me, i live in Kyle and would have no problem comuting to SM for a ride

Hi...New Braunfels rider here. Check out www.pedalpower.us. It's a LBS website from Pedal Power in San Marcos. Great bike shop with lots of rides. We did 40 miles last Saturday and just took our time. You'll find riders of all capabilities riding out of Pedal Power.

anyone going to be doing any riding this coming weekend in SM? or NB? (10-21) The wife and I are trying out some new setups to get us back into shape and are looking to maybe do about an hr to an hr and a half worth of riding.

I'm just south of New Braunfels and trying to mix in some biking with my walking to stay in shape. Shopping for a hybrid right now...looking mainly at the Trek 7.2FX (or 7.3). Can also highly recommend the Pedal Power shop in San Marcos - great folks and will probably buy from them.
