Hi y'all! I wear glasses that are graduated. These are bifocals with a progressive lense that goes smoothly from near to far vision correction.

I want to put this prescription into an insert. The insert will go into a pair of biking glasses. The biking glasses will have interchangeable lenses. When it is sunny the lense will be clear. When it is cloudy the lense will be dark UV.

The problem is that my prescription bifocals require a certain height to accomodate in effect the two lenses. The insert for most biking glasses that I have found is not high enough to accommodate the lense.

Is there anyone out there who wears graduated, progressive bifocals who has found an insert that will accommodate them. I tried the Rudy project and the brand from Performance. Neither insert was large enough!

Thanks,

I wear Bolle Paroles with the Rx Insert with no problems. I took the insert and glesses frame w/o the lens to my eye dr. and they fitted the no lines correctly into mine the first time.

The insert would have to be really small to be too small for progressive lenses. Has your optician seen the insert and told you it was too small? I'm curious because I will soon be getting new glasses, sunglasses, and cycling glasses. I am hoping to use one of the cycling models with the prescription insert.

I have a similar problem. I've decided to forget the whole thing and start wearing contacts. That way I can wear whatever glasses I want. (when I want)
