I use nokian gazzalodi tyres at the minute and they are 24" x 3". does anyone else ride tyres that width??? or bigger????

For some people a 3.0 is where it's at. For some it is overkill.

I run tires anywhere from 26x2.35-26x2.50.

For me, 24,26x3.0 is just too much tire.

I ordered a 24"X3" nokian but qbp didnt have any, and I have nokian 2.6's that I havent installed. What bike do you run a 3" tire through? Your bike must be pretty pimp....got any pics?

I personally think its overkill. 2.5 is about my limit. Very few situations warrant it...however they look HOT and from the front on some bikes it look mean...very cool tires..

What bike do you run with those tires...if you say a burly ht with a triple clamp and 3" tires I will ask you to post pics ;)...

Too hardcore for me! The biggest I'd run is maybe 2.4-2.5... anything else is too damn slow.

Would it matter if a 3.0 tire was slow? Just think if you used it for dh you would be going DOWN hill and it wouldent slow you down worth s***, and if you were doing urban and freeride stuff you arent racing or anything so why would it matter? I cant wait till I get mine.
