I did a 72.8 mile ride on Sunday!:D The first half of the ride I averaged 16.4 mph over 36 miles. The first half (Tolgate creek - Highline canal - Cherry Creek - South Platte Trails) are all cement trails. The second half of the trail was hard packed dirt (Lee Gulch - Highline (before Colorado Blvd)) and my average speed dropped to 13.8. I felt great after the ride. Celebrated by eating some shredded chicken and having 2 Sam Adams Cherry Wheat beers. WHOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO
