NOTE: I'm posting this publicly rather than as a private message because I'm sure I'm not the only one who has been following DrPete's race reports with great interest.
Since my goal for my first year of racing next year is to upgrade to Cat4 legitimately rather than with 10 DNFs, I have really enjoyed hearing all of the details about DrPete's races regardless of the outcome. Your story about sprinting to the finish one lap too soon was going through my mind last night during my second race!
Anyway, congrats. I can't wait to hear about your journey from Cat4 to Cat3 next year!!
