So, I removed my handlebars last night, to clean up the area where the stem and handlebars meet. I was trying to fix this annoying pop that I was hearing when I was out of the saddle. Unfortunatly, when I was tightening the bolts I over did it on one and broke it off in the stem. There isn't enough bolt sticking out to grab with pliers or a wrench, so I think I might just go ahead and replace the stem.
The broken one that looks something like this: http://www.nashbar.com/nashbar_photos/medium/ZM-ORS.gif
What do I need for something a little fancier? I was thinking something with 4 bolts might be a little sturdier, but none of them seem to come in this configuration. I see Nashbar has a stem adaptor, would I need to purchase something like that as well?
Thanks in advance.
