Does anybody have the 30th Anniversary Born to Run box set? Is the Hammersmith Odeon DVD worth having, or would I be better off just buying the CDs of the show. Thanks.
Cheers.

The DVD has better sound than the CD. If you've got a 5.1 sound system then you'll really enjoy the difference.
The video part is great, but I've never watched it all the way through. I put in the DVD and turn off the television and listen to the concert. If something interesting is happening then I turn the TV back on and see what I missed. Plus, you're not changing discs halfway through.
To me, the superior sound is worth the price of admission.

Thanks Mayonnaise--that's just what I was looking for! I've heard the video quality of the DVD is less-than-stellar, but if the audio is as good or better than the CDs, I'm in.
Cheers.

at the Cellar in N.Y. I was at the last night's show, killer set.
