Alright,

So some local guy is selling his Titus Evolution softtail. I've never heard of one, nor have I ever seen another. I have scoured the internet for any information, but have come up with none. I'm pretty tempted to buy it, what with a titanium frame, full XTR and RS Duke SL, but I'm just leary of buying a bike that is a few years old (he thinks its probably 2001-2002), that I don't know anythign about.

Anybody ever heard of or seen anything about this ride?

On that note, are there any real disadvantages to softtails (such as the Salsa Dos-Niner, Kent Jester, and apparently the Titus Evolution)? Seems like they just aren't around as much anymore. Design flaws? durability issues?

Thanks,

NebBar
