Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Selle SLR or San Marco Regal on this bike? *pic*

sorry, please dont chastise because it has got gears... i ask this because you guys in general have a better sense of aesthetic than the roadie crowd :D

I like cool rivets, and hate white saddles, but that's just me. Lotsa people like white saddles. So what do you like? White saddles or rivets? OR if you just can't decide, maybe you can get a white regal.

From a non-aesthetic standpoint, my ass is OK with the SLr. Never tried the regal.

the SLR looks better with the rest of the bike so I vote for that. that is unless you find the other one is more comfortable, then you go with that because you cant see the seat when you are sitting and smashing anyway.

Which one do you find more comfortable? Being italia and marco saddles, they have somewhat different shapes.

Amazing bike though. just plain classy.

thing is, i hvae to pick one or the other before getting it.. so no chance for long-term testing. ive sat on neither saddles... if they dont work out ill throw on my own selle flite. though i do have an SLR clone on the commuter bike and that's been fine (no long-distance rides, though)

yup a white regal would be classy as hell. Plus I've found the slr to be much differently shaped than flites. I rode an slr for weeks, and could never get it to be comfortable. I switched to a flite, and find it perfect.

I don't know how a regal compares comfort-wise to the slr though. I've just found flites much more comfortable than slrs.

I have a SLR on my road bike, my ass can last a bit over 2 hours then it cries. Looks wise I think a white turbo would look totally t i t s on that bike.
