A guy that comes to my shop recently put on some oval concepts TT bars and SPD's. He seems to like it.

Never rode one very far, but the one's in my store seem pretty decent. I dislike a lot of the stock components, but the frames seem quite nice. I've been thinking about getting one just for the frame/fork.

Just change the cog or the chainring to lower the ratio... no need to buy all new cranks.

I put bullhorns on mine. The handling is definitely tighter with them. I actually fell the first day with them when I went to trackstand  It was quite a bit more different than I thought. Oh well, it was only downtown during 5 o'clock commute home..

The first thing i did was change out the bars. I put on salsa drops. Ripped off the stickers and got some new tape. I'm waiting for my FSA gossamer cx crankset to arrive today and put that sucker on. So yah, From stock. Change the oem bars first, they are really heavy. Cranks are pretty el cheapo also. Thats about it for a 500 buck bike. Also whatever pedals you like of course. I run 46x16 or 46x17 for the hills.
I'll post pic when i put the new cranks on.

i come from the world of freestyle bmx where 30 pounds is nice and light what is an ideal weight for a ss bike?.....and if weight is concern what are the heaviar componets on the bike that make a differnce by swaping something else out....what would you suggest far as bars to make easiar to ride it like a bmx bike, easiar to do wheelies and the such...
