Does anyone know if ESPN will have coverage of the 2001 Tour?

I just got cable so that I could tape coverage of the Tour which has been on usually around 3am. I don't see anything anywhere on the web that indicates ESPN will air anything this year.

I did see something about OLN, but I don't think I can get that.

Each year I would set the VCR to tape the Tour at night and then watch it in the am before going to work.

I understand that OLN will cover the entire Tour. I've heard that CBS will have a couple of hours on Sunday. Don't think ESPN will cover it. Check their website to confirm.

Sorry. :(

Welllll... you don't necessarily have to go completely cold turkey. Last year the TdF web page had live, online, blow-by-blow updates. It got pretty intense at times, like Hautacam when Armstrong blew past Pantani's attack and showed the world that he was back (“Oh yeah, the legs were okay today..."). The only drawback is toward the end of the stages, when everybody is constantly refreshing their pages... response slows to a crawl.

Yes I did see the Updates on the website and I thought it was awsome, unfortunately I was wasting alot of time at my office checking that and not working. I can't believe that ESPN would not cover the Tour they have every other year.

There's got to be someone out there who know's the inside scoop?

Well thank;you for your inputs.
