They are great. Featherlight. Slick looking and comfy shape.

Scratch up easily if you ride them bare though.

they're light and all, but too flexy for me on the track. i'm also 6'4" 200lbs, so that has something to do with it... going to switch to the nitto steel drops for next season. but otherwise, they're great.

Spring for the steel bars (velocita), they're much better than the aluminum (elementi).

I really like mine...effing light as hell and the stem is definately stiff. I can se how the bars could be called flexy... especially around the ends of the drops, though if you keep your hands closer to the bends, there isn't so much of an issue.

I have L_n2b's old aluminum Pista bars, and they're fantastic for street riding. As other's have mentioned in previous threads, the flex can actually be really nice. It goes a long way to smoothing out some nastiness in the road. If you have large hands, the extended 31.8 bulge section at the stem feels great. And yes, I also spend a fair bit of time in the drops.

Stem just arrived. It's very, very nice. Worth the $? Guess I'll soon see.
Does the flat black anodizing scratch/wear off easily? Seems like it might.
The instructions say to polish it with vaseline and a soft cloth. Kinda sexy, non?

Polish what with vaseline? :eek: ;) I know i get excited with new parts but instructions telling you to use lub, that's just silly.

I am 6' 4" and I weight 230lbs and I have a friend with em and they aren't flexy but he also has a thompson x2 stem instead of the newton
